Gold: Keeping Larsson
Birmingham chairman David Gold is adamant Sebastian Larsson will not be allowed to leave St Andrews.
Blues are facing a fight to keep hold of their top stars, including Larsson, following their relegation from the Premier League.
Newcastle and Blackburn have been strongly linked with a move for the Swedish international, who impressed for Birmingham last season.
Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is keen to keep Larsson as he plans an immediate return to the top flight and Gold has vowed to pull out all the stops to prevent the former Arsenal youngster leaving.
"Seb will leave over my dead body. He's vital to us," Gold told The Sun.
