Bent celebrates opening goal
Manchester United snatched a late draw at home to Sunderland, Portsmouth claimed their first points of the season, Hull City eased the pressure on Phil Brown, Burnley continued their superb home form, while Bolton and Spurs shared four goals.
An injury-time own goal from Anton Ferdinand denied Sunderland a deserved win at Old Trafford as champions Man Utd came back to draw 2-2.
Darren Bent fired the visitors into an early lead, but United responded in the early stages of the second half through Dimitar Berbatov's acrobatic effort.
