Bodde: Wants Derby switch

Derby are ready to talk with Swansea after making a third offer for midfielder Ferrie Bodde.

Derby have been interested in signing Bodde since the middle of May and the Dutchman is also desperate for the switch to go ahead.

However, Swansea are equally determined to keep Bodde and have said they will only part with him for £2million.

Rams chairman Adam Pearson is now looking for the matter to finally be resolved and hopes Swansea will accept their latest bid.

"We have made what we feel is a very good offer for the player and we are ready to talk," Pearson told the Derby Evening Telegraph.

"We are hoping the whole saga will come to an end soon."

Speculation suggests Derby's offer could be around £1.5m with possible add-ons.
