Savage: Considering Brighton move

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Micky Adams has not given up on signing Robbie Savage on loan.

Derby County midfielder Savage has been offered a temporary move to Brighton after failing to figure for his current club in the past month.

Savage's team-mate Gary Teale has already turned down a switch to the Seagulls and the former Wales international also appeared to be against the move.

Rams manager Paul Jewell had stated that Savage was not interested in joining the League One club, but Adams says the 33-year-old has yet to make a decision.

Adams expects to hear from the ex-Leicester City man on Monday as he looks to boost his injury-hit squad.

"Robbie's not ruled it out, although the national papers seem to know more than I do," Adams told The Argus.

"I got a call from Robbie last week saying 'don't rule it out, I'll speak to you on Monday'."
