Charlton and Sheffield United will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent starts in League One this weekend.

Both clubs were among the pre-season promotion favourites and have backed that up by winning each of their three games so far.

Bradley Wright-Phillips' first goals of the new season gave Charlton a 2-0 win at Colchester on Tuesday night and Saturday sees the Addicks host Scunthorpe, who are yet to win since relegation from the Championship.

Sheffield United were also relegated but came from 2-0 down at home to Walsall to win 3-2 and they hit the road to face Tranmere, who dropped their first points in midweek.

MK Dons reached last season's play-offs and are third with seven points. They will aim to maintain their unbeaten record at home to Chesterfield, who have taken just one point since winning last season's League Two title.

Notts County and Brentford are level with Tranmere on six points, and Notts visit a Sheffield Wednesday side eager to bounce back after two straight defeats.

London derby

Uwe Rosler's Brentford have a London derby to look forward to as they host Leyton Orient, the only League One side yet to earn a point.

Newly-promoted Stevenage claimed their first League One win at Bournemouth in midweek and return home to face Hartlepool, who've drawn all three games.

Relegated Preston also chalked up their first victory on Tuesday night, away to Chesterfield, and they will hope to back that up with another win at home to Exeter.

Oldham claimed their first points by winning at Scunthorpe in midweek and have a local derby at home to winless Rochdale.

Although Huddersfield are unbeaten, the pre-season title favourites host Colchester searching for their first win.

Wycombe and Bury both got their first league wins of the campaign in midweek and the newly-promoted sides renew acquaintances at Adams Park.

Walsall and Yeovil will be looking to bounce back from midweek defeats when they lock horns at the Banks's Stadium, while Bournemouth must make a long trip up to Carlisle.
