West Bromwich Albion are struggling to agree a fee to sign Polish midfielder Radoslaw Majewski.

The Premier League new boys are looking to add to their squad and have identified Majewski as a possible recruit.

Talks have been held with his club Groclin Dyskobolia, who are rumoured to be demanding a sum in the region of £2.3million.

Groclin's sporting director Tadeusz Fajfer admits discussions are ongoing, but that the Baggies are still 'some way' from meeting their valuation.

Lifting price

"There have been offers from West Bromwich Albion as part of our discussions, but we haven't agreed a fee," Fajfer told the Birmingham Mail.

"I'm not going to reveal our price, but they are still some way from it.

"They keep lifting the price, but it's not yet close to our valuation for Radoslaw.

"We will see what happens. It's not up to us to push this move through - if West Bromwich or any club want him then it's up to them."
