Jonas Olsson has called on his West Brom team-mates to build on their victory at Middlesbrough when they tackle Fulham this weekend.

Swedish centre-back Olsson scored the only goal of the game at the Riverside as Tony Mowbray's side collected their second three-point haul of the new Premier League season.

And the summer signing from NEC Nijmegen is eager to claim their third victory in four outings when the Cottagers travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday.

He said: "It has not been a bad start to the season. I think it is important to get some points on the board from the start and take some pressure off us. So far, so good.

"Fulham have the same kind of football philosophy as we do. It is a team that wants to play.

"A good team, so we have to be at our best and on our toes to get another win."

Weapon

Olsson is pleased to have immediately found his feet in the Midlands and has pledged to bring an added goal-threat to Tony Mowbray's side after his winner against Boro.

He said: "I am happy with the way I am settled in. It is going well so far.

"It was good to get the winner at Middlesbrough. In the last few years, I have started scoring more.

"I scored five last season in the league and, with my height, it should be a weapon from which to score a few goals with every season.

"Scoring is the greatest feeling there is on the field, so I was happy with it last week. Now we have to build on that result."
