Greening: Not panicking
West Bromwich Albion captain Jonathan Greening is confident the club can climb out of the relegation zone after they held a team meeting on Tuesday.
The newly-promoted Baggies currently lie 19th in the table after the weekend draw with Blackburn Rovers left them with just one point to show from their last four Premier League outings.
Greening, though, is refusing to panic and is backing Tony Mowbray's troops to improve on their form in the matches to come.
He told the Express & Star: "We had a little meeting with the gaffer and he said to be upbeat and confident because we have been doing really well footballing-wise.
"We just need to cut out the mistakes and we're working really hard on the training ground to do that.
"We have to keep working hard, practice the things we've been doing on the training field, stop the mistakes but keep playing the way we are.
"Both the forwards have been scoring recently so hopefully there is only one way to go, and that is up.
"We're really upbeat, maybe because we played really well against Newcastle in the second half and really well against Blackburn.
"We believe if we keep playing as we are and cut out the mistakes that have cost us we have every chance of climbing up the league and doing really well.
"There is still a lot of confidence in the camp, people are upbeat and there are a lot of jokes flying around the training ground.
"We're not too bothered that we have crept into the bottom three because we know, and the league table suggests, that one win can get us right back into the top half.
"You look at the table but it's not so bad for people like me, who have been in the bottom three a few times before. Being in the bottom three is not a problem at this stage."
