Sheffield Wednesday have brought West Bromwich Albion striker Bartosz Slusarski back to the club on loan.

Slusarski enjoyed a loan spell at Hillsborough at the end of last season and scored once in seven Championship appearances.

He has not featured for the Baggies since the club's promotion to the Premier League and Owls boss Brian Laws was happy to re-sign the Pole, with a view to a permanent deal.

"We know all about Bartosz and what he can do because he was on loan here last season and did ever so well," Laws told the club's official website.

"I think with encouragement and support, he can be of real benefit to us.

"Not only that, he is a nice guy to work with and so I would like to welcome Bartosz back to Sheffield Wednesday and wish him well."

The 26-year-old could be involved in Saturday's Championship game with Norwich City after Laws allowed Deon Burton to join Charlton Athletic on loan.
