Odjidja-Ofoe: Keen on West Brom switch
Hamburg midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is hoping to win a move to West Brom after undergoing a trial at The Hawthorns.
The young Belgian enjoyed a short trial spell at the Premier League strugglers earlier this week and he is believed to have impressed the Baggies coaching staff.
West Brom are considering signing the 19-year-old on loan for the second half of the season and Hamburg could be willing to sanction the move as Odjidja-Ofoe does not currently figure in Martin Jol's plans.
The player's agent, Jos Eerdekens, has admitted Odjidja-Ofoe is interested in a move to England and hopes to find out by the end of the week if a deal will go ahead.
" Vadis visited the club and trained with them before playing in a practice game," Eerdekens told skysports.com.
"I think he did well and the impression from West Brom was positive and Vadis was impressed by the club.
"He is a fan of English football and he talks to Belgian team-mates Vincent Kompany and Marouane Fellaini about the Premier League.
"Vadis would be interested in a move as Martin Jol is not using him at Hamburg and that is a problem for him at the moment.
"Any move would be a loan move until the end of the season and we hope to know West Brom's decision by the end of the week."
