Shane Long and Ben Foster are among the 23 players named in West Brom's squad list for the first half of the 2011/12 Premier League campaign.

Under Premier League rules clubs must name a maximum of 25 over-21 players with at least eight of these classed as 'home-grown' - defined as being registered with an English or Welsh club for three years prior to their 21st birthday.

Players who will be under 21 on 1st January do not have to be included.

Roy Hodgson has named a 23-man squad, ten of those home grown, with new boys Long, Foster, Gareth McAuley, Billy Jones and Zoltan Gera all included.

The likes of Chris Wood, Joe Mattock and Craig Dawson are not included but qualify through the Under 21 rule.
