Gobern: Keen to play
Lewis Gobern is prepared to consider a permanent deal at Colchester United when his Wolves contract expires.
The winger originally joined the Us last month and has now extended his loan spell until the end of the season.
His deal at Wolves runs out in the summer and he is expected to move on from Molineux on a free transfer.
Gobern has been impressed by his time at Colchester and is open to a permanent move to the League One club.
"Moving to Colchester on a permanent basis would be something I would consider," the 24-year-old told the Gazette. "I feel I work well with the players and with the manager.
"But I don't like to look too far ahead and at the moment the main thing is to do as well as possible for the team, play games, get fit and help Colchester do well.
"Whatever happens after that will happen."
