Henry: Confident of survival
Wolves skipper Karl Henry believes his side's performance against Manchester United bodes well for the remainder of their Premier League survival campaign.
Mick McCarthy's men came close to securing a share of the points in Saturday's clash at Molineux, with the champions needing a late strike from Paul Scholes to steal the victory.
Other results at the weekend saw the Midlands outfit retain their position outside of the drop zone, though they remain level on points with 18th placed Hull City.
Wolves travel to fellow strugglers Burnley on Saturday and Henry insists they should take confidence from their display against United.
"Saturday was disappointing," said Henry. "I thought we made a very good side look ordinary at times and played really well, but again it's to no avail.
"You could see how much it meant to United to win the game at the end and it was by no means a comfortable victory. They had to work hard for those points.
"It's another game with the top four out the way but we can take a lot of heart from the performance.
"We played well and, although the gaffer keeps on at us about playing well but not getting anything, if we keep going like this we'll be fine."
Fellow midfielder David Jones joined his team-mate in predicting Wolves' survival in the top-flight - but he insists they need to make the most of opportunities on goal.
"It was a good performance against United, as we've been doing in recent weeks, and we limited them to very little," said Jones.
"It was hard to take but we have to get on with it and start getting ready for Saturday.
"We weren't overawed and played our fair share of football and created some chances. We were patient in our build up and passed it around and bided our time like they do.
"We just need to score some goals. With more performances like that between now and the end of the season I am sure we will pick up points."
