Super-sub Oli Johnson scored a late double to keep Norwich on top of League One following a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Southend at Carrow Road.

Johnson notched twice in 12 minutes for Paul Lambert's men after Scott Vernon had given the visitors an early lead.

A second-half Luciano Becchio brace was enough to keep second-placed Leeds in the hunt as they saw off Oldham 2-0.
