Skysports.com understands Colchester are lining up a move for Norwich ace Ian Henderson.

Henderson is currently training with Colchester after leaving Turkish club Ankaragucu.

The 24-year-old has cancelled his contract with Ankaragucu after just six months in Turkey and he was offered the chance to train with Colchester.

The versatile attacker is believed to have impressed Colchester chief Aidy Boothroyd and he is ready to offer him a deal at the club.

Colchester are expected to push through a deal for the former Luton and Northampton man once they receive international clearance for his signature.
