Charlton Athletic have brought striker Akpo Sodje back to the club on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.

Sodje, who scored two goals during a spell with the Addicks earlier this season, will now spend the rest of the campaign at The Valley.

The 29-year-old, the younger brother of Charlton defender Sam Sodje, will be out of contract with the Owls in the summer and could earn a permanent deal with the League One club.

"It's good news to have him in the building," said Addicks manager Phil Parkinson.

Sodje joined Wednesday in August 2007 from Port Vale and scored nine goals in 44 appearances during his time at Hillsborough.
