Teale: Heading to Hillsborough
Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on the signing of Gary Teale, skysports.com understands.
Teale is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Derby County earlier this summer.
The 31-year-old is understood to have held talks with Wednesday boss Alan Irvine and he is ready to make the move to Hillsborough.
Teale is believed to be ready to sign a two-year deal at Wednesday as Irvine continues to rebuild his squad.
Irvine has already landed Jon Otsemobor, Paul Heffernan, Daniel Jones and Chris Sedgwick and Teale is expected to be the next new face in South Yorkshire.
