Sheffield Wednesday striker Clinton Morrison would like his loan move to MK Dons to become permanent and wants the clubs to sort it out.
The 32-year-old striker joined the Milton Keynes club last week on a one-month loan deal and made his debut as a second-half substitute in the 0-0 draw at Bury on Saturday.
Morrison, who has fallen out of favour at Hillsborough, told the Citizen: "I'd love it to be longer, I'd love it to be until January, I'd love it to be permanently. But it's out of my hands, that's between the two clubs to sort out."
Meanwhile, Charlie MacDonald, the man Morrison was brought in to cover, has undergone a scan to assess the extent of his thigh injury.
MacDonald, signed from Brentford at the end of August, scored in his first three outings for the Dons but has not featured since hobbling off against Morrison's parent side two weeks ago.
Dons boss Karl Robinson said: "We'll be sitting down with the specialists on Tuesday to see how long it's going to be."
