Pools land Bullock

Hartlepool United have swooped to sign Cardiff's Lee Bullock.

The 24-year-old has signed on at Victoria Park after Cardiff agreed to release him.

Bullock moved to Cardiff last year when The Bluebirds paid York £100,000 for his services.

However, Bullock failed to make the expected impact at Ninian Park and he has now secured a move back to his native North East.

Bullock is new manager Martin Scott's first signing of the summer.

Meanwhile, Scott could follow up Bullock's capture with the signing of Michael Proctor.

Scott knows the Rotherham striker from his time with Sunderland and is understood to have held talks with the 24-year-old about a possible free transfer move.
