Cardiff City teenager Nat Jarvis is considering an offer to play his international football with Antigua after being overlooked by Wales.

Jarvis, who scored on his Cardiff debut against Oxford United in the Carling Cup last month, was included in the Antigua squad for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Curacao and US Virgin Islands.

He was unable to be part of those games, but the striker is keen to be involved in Antigua's push to qualify for next year's Olympic Games in London.

"Nat is keen to play for a country playing World Cup qualifying matches now and keen to qualify for the Olympic Games next year," Tony Rees of Jarvis' representatives Blue Chip London told Wales Online.

"Nat has been bitterly disappointed to be overlooked by Wales at all levels.

"I have written to Wales manager Gary Speed and copied in age-level coach Brian Flynn. But nothing has been resolved and Antigua, who are above Wales in the world rankings, are keen for him to be in their squad."
