Skacel: Town target
Ipswich are closing in on the signing of Rudi Skacel from Southampton.
Town boss Jim Magilton has held talks with Skacel after Southampton agreed a deal with their Championship rivals.
Skacel is well down the pecking order at St Mary's and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hertha Berlin.
The player's agent Pavel Zika admits Ipswich are favourites for Skacel's signature even though there is interest from other clubs.
"Ipswich look like the most likely option, but still nothing is signed yet," Zika told deniksport.cz. "There are still some clubs in the game but they are not as specific as Ipswich are."
"This has not been a problem at all. Money has played no important role in the negotiations," added Zika.
