Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll has threatened not to change his clothes after seeing his side defeat Ipswich.

Rovers scored their first home goal since August and claimed their first three-point haul in 13 matches as they triumphed 1-0 over the play-off chasing Tractor Boys.

Shelton Martis headed home the only goal of the game four minutes before the interval to lift the home side to within four points of safety.

O'Driscoll joked: "I think I'm going to have to wear this jacket, shirt and pants every game now.

"We played how we've played in all the games so far - we didn't approach this any different.

"We got a goal, which was nice, and it was something to cling onto and something to fight for.

"We had a little bit of luck where we could have conceded two or three goals but all credit goes to the players."

On match-winner Martis, he added: "He's got pace and attacks the ball well.

"In his two games, we've kept two clean sheets - he's done very well."

Bullied

Disappointed Ipswich boss Jim Magilton admitted: "It's a poor defeat because the last seven or eight games we've been very good but four or five players were below par.

"Doncaster deserve credit because they had to dig in for almost an hour.

"We lacked quality in vital areas. I think we got a little bit bullied and overrun in midfield - I think they beat us in that department.

"We've got plenty of experience in there but it was just a lack of quality and a lack of know-how."
