Keane: Takes his troops to Coventry
Ipswich face a tricky opening day fixture when they face Coventry at the Ricoh Arena.
The Tractor Boys finished the season strongly under new manager Roy Keane and the former Manchester United midfielder will have his sights set on promotion this time round.
Ipswich then welcome newly promoted Leicester to Portman Road on the 15th before hosting Crystal Palace three days later.
Keane's men finish August with a tough trip to West Brom and a home match against Preston.
The Irishman first faces former club Nottingham Forest on the 15th September at Portman Road before returning to the City Ground, where he spent three seasons as a player, on April 10th.
Ipswich don't meet promotion favourites Newcastle until September 26th when they play them at home.
