Murphy: Joins Ipswich
Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane has signed Sunderland forward Daryl Murphy on loan for the remainder of the season.
Skysports.com revealed earlier on transfer deadline day that Keane was keen to add Murphy to his squad until the summer.
The 26-year-old was in the first-team picture for Sunderland last season, but has mustered just three Premier League appearances this time around.
Murphy joins a long line of ex-Black Cats at Portman Road after linking up with Carlos Edwards, Grant Leadbitter and Jonathan Stead.
The Republic of Ireland international is now in line to make his Ipswich debut against Middlesbrough in the Championship this weekend.
