As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Ipswich were lining up a move for the highly-rated Drury.

Drury is thought to have agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal at Portman Road after Ipswich agreed a deal with Luton.

The 27-year-old is expected to tie up the move before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm and he will become Paul Jewell's second signing at Portman Road following the arrival of Jimmy Bullard on loan from Hull City.
