Phillips: New contract
Wycombe Wanderers have signed Joe Cobb from Leicester City and handed a contract extension to Matty Phillips.
Cobb has agreed a one-year deal with Wycombe to become the League One club's second signing of the summer after the arrival of Lewis Montrose.
The left-back is happy to have clinched a move to Adams Park and is looking forward to playing under his new manager Peter Taylor.
"I'm pleased to get it sorted today and I'm looking forward to starting training tomorrow," Cobb told the club's official website.
"I have heard lots of good things about Peter Taylor, he's a good coach and a good manager, so I think this move will be great for me."
Meanwhile, teenage striker Phillips has signed a one-year extension to his deal to tie him to Wycombe until 2011.
Phillips said: "I'm very happy to get the contract sorted. I thought I had a decent year last season and I hope to kick on now.
"We are going to be playing some big clubs next season and I'm really looking forward to testing myself against the likes of Leeds, Charlton and so on."
