Leicester striker Matty Fryatt has recovered from injury and will be available for selection in the Foxes' Championship play-off campaign.

The 24-year-old, who has hit 11 league goals this season, has not played since breaking his jaw in a collision with Doncaster captain Brian Stock in February.

But Fryatt is back in training and is likely to feature as Leicester attempt to earn a return to the Premier League after six years away from the top flight.

Foxes assistant manager Craig Shakespeare told the Leicester Mercury: "Matty has looked sharp in training. He has looked eager to please and what a great addition that will be for the play-offs.

"He has been one of our regular goalscorers over the past 18 months and it was an unfortunate injury to pick up just when he was on top form.

"It will be like having a new player back. He has been missed and it is great he can see the light at the end of the tunnel."

The Foxes have received a further boost with the news that influential midfielder Ritchie Wellens has recovered from the hamstring strain which forced him out of Saturday's 1-0 win over Preston.
