Leicester chief Milan Mandaric insists that he is not about to sack Paulo Sousa.

The Portuguese coach only took charge at the Walkers Stadium in the summer after he left Swansea.

But things have, thus far, not gone according to plan for Sousa and the Foxes currently sit bottom of the Championship.

Reports have claimed that Mandaric is looking at other options, with Martin O'Neill and Gus Poyet linked with the role.

But Mandaric, who himself has been linked with a return to former club Portsmouth, insists no moves are afoot to replace Sousa.

"We have a long-term plan and Paulo is part of that," the Leicester chairman told the Daily Mail.
