Histon caused the first giant-killing of the afternoon in the first round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over League Two outfit Shrewsbury.
The Southern League Premier Division minnows booked their place in the second round courtesy of Ian Cambridge's early goal and Charles Liban's late strike.
Cambridge found the net after just four minutes to give Histon the lead and they were made to hang on for the rest of the contest.
Shrewsbury threw everything into attack in a bid to save themselves, but they could not find an equaliser.
Histon made the game safe deep into injury time with Liban producing a tremendous volley from the edge of the area.
Halifax were another side to cause an upset as they dumped Cambridge United out of the Cup in a 3-1 home win.
Goals from Martin Foster, Craig Midgley and Neil Ross saw off the challenge of their League Two counterparts, whose goal came from Shane Tudor.
Hinckley United were another underdog in celebration as they knocked out League One side Torquay 2-0.
Goals from Richard Lavery and Neil Cartwright sending the home side in to unexpected joy.
Aldershot proved too much for Canvey Island on home soil as they cruised to a 4-0 success - with all the goals coming in an impressive second-half display.

Substitute Mark Sale proved the hero for Alfreton as his last minute leveller against Macclesfield earned his side a replay.
Promising Town midfielder Danny Whitaker had looked to have booked Brian Horton's side a place in the draw, after he netted in the 86th minute.
A brace from experienced hitman Scott Partridge was enough to claim a scalp for Bath as they saw off the threat of Barnet in a 2-1 win on their travels.
Liam Hatch had handed the Conference outfit a lead early in the second half but Partridge stole a win courtesy of strikes in the 65th and final minute.
Stevenage proved too strong for a stubborn Billercicay resolve, as they edged a tight contest to win 1-0.

Terry Everett netted a late consolation for Boston, who also had Simon Downer dismissed.
A late goal from Marvin Robinson secured an impressive 1-0 victory for Rushden & Diamonds at Valley Parade.
High flying Bristol Rovers were denied a place in the next round after Brendan McGill's goal for Carlisle cancelled out Richard Walker's opener.
Bury had far too much firepower for Vauxhall Motors as they cruised to a 5-2 success at Gigg Lane.
Dwayne Mattis netted a double and further goals from Chris Porter, Dave Challiner and in-form Dave Nugent secured a successful passage for the North West minnows.
Vauxhall's response came from Wayne McDermott and Karl O'Donnell.
Cambridge City will be looking for a lucrative draw after overcoming fellow Non-League side Leigh RMI, thanks to a last minute strike from Jonathan Stevenson.
Dave Sadler had earlier in the second period cancelled out Chris Simms' first-half opener.

Alun Armstrung netted the game's opener on 16 minutes and then added another, before Clarke Keltie's goal had looked to have secured the win for Darlo.
