King: Impressed by Brown
Hull striker Marlon King says everyone at the club is confident they can stay up this season.
The Tigers have enjoyed a fantastic start to life in the top flight and have 11 points from five games after Saturday's memorable win over Arsenal.
The victory at Emirates Stadium was one of the biggest shocks in Premier League history, but King claims the whole squad were always confident of springing a surprise in North London.
"Obviously we showed them respect, but not too much respect," King told Sky Sports News.
"We went 1-0 down and we still believed in ourselves, so massive credit to the team, staff and fans who, were amazing.
"With a bit of magic from Geovanni, who some people might have said was having a quiet game, then he turns up with an absolute worldie of a goal and for Daniel [Cousin] to seal it was amazing."
King believes Hull boss Phil Brown deserves a lot of credit for the side's superb start to the campaign.
"He is very impressive," added King. "You can see he has worked under Sam Allardyce with his tactical decisions which have stood him in good stead.
"He has been brilliant since I first met him and he is rubbing off on the players also."
Asked if he was confident Hull can survive in their first-ever season in the Premier League, King said: Of course [we can survive]. If you don't believe you may as well pack in the season and go on your holidays.
"We believe, the fans believe and everybody associated with the club believe, that's why so many supporters turned up [at Arsenal]. They all believe in their team and so do the boys."
