Brown: More to come
Phil Brown says Hull City must forget the stunning victory over Arsenal and focus on Sunday's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
Premier League new boys Hull created the biggest shock of the season last weekend after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Emirates Stadium.
But, despite the magnitude of the success, Brown does not want his players to bask in the result ahead of the trip to White Hart Lane.
"It's gone now, it's behind us, it's fish and chip paper," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I know it's a harsh reality to actually talk about the game like that, but it's finished now and we have to focus on Spurs.
"I think it's important we don't get carried away. I think there's still more to come.
"As I said after the game, I berated a number of players at half-time for giving the ball away, but when the stats came back to me, we had an 83 per cent successful passing rate.
"That's far batter than any other game this season. That's what you need to do in games like that. You need to be at your best.
"I was frustrated and angry with one or two individuals for giving the ball away cheaply, but maybe our passing rate was down to not playing the right pass on occasions.
"I'm talking about the pass which dissects the back four and creates the opportunities. We did have chances to do that in the first half but didn't take them."
