Cousin: Loaned to Larissa
Hull City have confirmed striker Daniel Cousin has joined Greek side Larissa on loan until the end of the season.
As revealed by skysports.com last month, Cousin has snubbed overtures from Queens Park Rangers to make the move to Greece.
The striker has struggled to shine at the KC Stadium since his move from Rangers in September 2008, scoring just four Premier League goals.
The Frenchman has seen his first-team chances limited to just one league start and two substitute appearances this term, and the arrival of Amr Zaki makes him surplus to requirements.
His struggles have seen Greek Super League side Larissa, who finished fifth in the table last season, swoop for his services and they have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan.
Despite interest from wealthy Championship side QPR, the Gabon international stressed his desire to ply his trade elsewhere, with Greece being his first-choice destination.
The move is a boost for Tigers boss Phil Brown who is eager to trim the club's wage bill with the prospect of relegation from the Premier League threatening the club's financial position.
