Jimmy Bullard's rehabilitation continues to gather pace as he completed 75 minutes for Hull City in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Doncaster.

The popular midfielder has shone whenever he has pulled on a Hull shirt but his time at the KC Stadium has been all too regularly interrupted by injury.

Bullard has not featured for the first team since sustaining a knee injury in a 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa on 5th December.

The 31-year-old played an hour for the reserves last week and was due to play in Hull's 1-0 friendly victory over League of Ireland side Galway on Friday night but was withdrawn by boss Phil Brown as a precaution.

City won the game 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Craig Fagan and two goals from Kamel Ghilas.

Bullard could return to Premier League action in Hull's trip to Everton on Sunday.
