Boaz Myhill is confident relegation-threatened Hull City can still have a successful season, but admits it is hard to currently enjoy his football.

The Tigers are hoping to secure a third successive year of Premier League football after staying in the top flight by a solitary point last term.

Phil Brown's side are currently inside the bottom three on goal difference on the back of a run of just one win in 13 league fixtures.

Hull have 11 games left to preserve their Premier League status and goalkeeper Myhill is optimistic the campaign can finish on a positive note.

"It is difficult to say you are enjoying things when you are down near the bottom of the league, but we are in a position where we can still have a successful season," Myhill told the Hull Daily Mail.

"There is so much at stake. Everybody fights for everything and it will go down to the last few games of the season for half-a-dozen teams.

"Hopefully, we will be out of it by then, but if not we will have to make sure we are out of it by the last day of the season."
