Cress vents Whites frustration

Richard Cresswell has cut a frustrated figure this season watching Leeds United's disappointing season from the sidelines.

The former Preston striker has been limited to just eight Championship outings, although he did play the last 20 minutes of last week's crucial 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Cresswell has again been dogged by injury this term, but the 29-year-old is staying confident the fallen giants can avoid the dreaded drop to League One.

"The fans are frustrated that they haven't seen much of me since I came here but then again so am I," said Cresswell.

"It has been a disappointing season for everyone concerned at the club and hopefully we can get out of this mess.

"It's been horrible for me having to watch this season from the treatment table but the most frustrating thing has been that I can't do anything about it."
