Taylor: Latics' hero
Carlisle United and Oldham Athletic both posses 100 per cent records at the summit of the League One table two games into the new season.
Carlisle brushed aside Crewe 4-2 at Brunton Park while Oldham stunned Leeds at Elland Road again courtesy of a 2-0 success.
Danny Graham helped himself a quick-fire brace as Carlisle took control against Crewe before Chris McCready replied for the visitors.
Scott Dobie and Simon Hackney added further goals for The Cumbrians before Tom Pope netted a late consolation.
Oldham followed up their impressive comeback against Millwall last week with yet another surprise away win over Leeds.
Although The Whites controlled the first half, The Latics responded after half time and left with the points courtesy of Chris Taylor's double.
Leicester City's goalless draw at newly-promoted Stockport County sees them move third in the table behind the early pacesetters.
Brighton were minutes from joining Carlisle and Oldham at the top of the table after being held to a late 1-1 draw by Bristol Rovers.
Nicky Forster's 10th minute penalty had The Seagulls ahead for virtually the whole game until Richard Lambert rescued a draw when he slotted home with four minutes left.
Walsall came from a goal down to claim a 2-1 success over pointless Scunthorpe United at the Bescot Stadium.
Garry Thompson fired The Iron ahead, but efforts from Marco Reich soon after and a last-gasp Jabo Ibehre goal turned things around.
Peterborough's season is up and running following a 3-0 success over Leyton Orient. Second half goals from Craig Mackail-Smith (2) and Aaron Mclean secured the points.
Craig Curran netted the only goal of the game as Tranmere edged out Hartlepool while Aaron Wilbraham's 66th minute effort was enough for MK Dons to sink Northampton.
Cheltenham overcame the sending off of Ben Gill to run out 2-0 winners against Swindon Town.
Gill broke the deadlock shortly after the hour mark only to be sent off soon after for collecting his second yellow card. Jennison Myrie-Williams settled the contest late on.
Millwall picked up their first point of the campaign thanks to a last-gasp 1-1 draw at home to promotion hopefuls Southend.
Alex Revell's early effort put The Shrimpers ahead, but Ahmet Brkovic's injury-time goal gave The Lions a much-needed point.
Yeovil Town maintained their unbeaten start to the season following a 2-1 away win at Hereford United.
Quick-fire goals from Danny Schofield and Paul Warne put The Glovers in control of the game and while Bradley Hudson-Odoi pulled one back it was not enough for The Bulls.
Colchester and Huddersfield shared the points as their clash at the Weston Homes Community Stadium finished without troubling the scoreboard operator.
