Carlisle and Oldham will be hoping to maintain their excellent starts on the third weekend of the League One season.

John Ward's Carlisle are top of the table with six points having scored seven goals in their opening two matches.

The Cumbrians will be looking for a third consecutive victory as they travel to Leyton Orient, who were thumped by Peterborough last time out.

Oldham are the only other side in the division to possess a 100 per cent record after an impressive victory at Elland Road last weekend, and John Sheridan's men will be aiming for more success against Cheltenham.

Highly-fancied Leeds will hope to bounce back from their defeat to the Latics when they visit undefeated Yeovil.

Leicester can also keep the pressure on at the top with a win against Tranmere as they strive for promotion back to the Championship at the first attempt.

Three teams have yet to get off the mark and Hereford, Scunthorpe and Crewe will all be desperate to propel themselves up the table.

Hereford meet a Bristol Rovers side that has just one point so far, while Scunthorpe entertain Peterborough and Crewe play Walsall.

Elsewhere, Huddersfield go in search of their first win after consecutive draws as they host newly promoted Milton Keynes Dons.

Stockport, who also have two points from two games, face a Hartlepool outfit that has been inconsistent early on.

Northampton also tackle Millwall on Saturday, while struggling Colchester tackle Swindon.
