Norwich City have moved four points clear at the top of the League One table as Leeds United's stuttering form continues.

The Canaries were losing for long periods at Brighton before late goals from Grant Holt and Gary Doherty gave them a fine 2-1 success.

Leeds squandered a host of chances at Leyton Orient and the home side made them pay when Tamika Mkandawire scored late on. Leeds were 30 seconds from defeat when Charlie Daniels' own goal spared their blushes.

Colchester missed the chance to leapfrog Charlton into third after they let slip a two-goal advantage before being held to a 2-2 draw at Stockport. Jabo Ibehre was the Hatters' hero with a brace.

The points were shared at the Galpharm Stadium as Swindon and Huddersfield Town played a 2-2 draw with Tony Kay scoring the Terriers' all-important equaliser.

Millwall have cemented sixth spot in League One following a late 1-0 success over Exeter thanks to evergreen striker Neil Harris' 81st minute winner.

Carlisle rounded off a fine week with a 5-0 thumping of Milton Keynes Dons. The Cumbrians booked their place in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final in midweek and had five different scorers against Paul Ince's side.

Struggling Wycombe remain six points adrift of Gillingham, who drew 0-0 with Yeovil, after being held to a 1-1 draw at Brentford thanks to Myles Weston's second half leveller.

Oldham have climbed into 18th in the table following a crucial 1-0 success over Walsall at Boundary Park with Pawel Abbott scoring the only goal of the game late on.

Tranmere stay in the drop zone after being held by Southend at Roots Hall. Ian Goodison cancelled out Scott Vernon's opener, but the point was not enough to move them out of the bottom four.

Promotion chasing Charlton take on Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground on Monday night.
