Lambert: Canaries take on Yeovil
All the top three sides have winnable games in what promises to be an exciting weekend of League One action.
Leaders Norwich, second-place Leeds and third-place Charlton all have games at home and will be pushing for three points as the race for promotion heats up.
With Colchester facing a tough game against Gus Poyet's Brighton on Monday, the top three have the chance to pile the pressure on the Us ahead of their match.
Norwich are five points clear of Leeds at the top although they have played a game more than their nearest rivals.
The Canaries host mid-table Yeovil, hoping to get over their stuttering form of late.
Paul Lambert's side look to have turned the corner with successive wins over Oldham and Southend, although recent defeats to Southampton and Millwall have highlighted they are not the infallible force previously perceived to be.
The same can be said of Leeds, who take on Brentford at Elland Road.
The Whites seemed destined for a return to the Championship before Christmas but a fantastic run in the FA Cup has seen them slip up in the league.
Simon Grayson's men have only managed one win in their last six league games and with a tough March fixture list ahead, a win is a must against the 14th-placed Bees.
The fact that Leeds are still in the automatic promotion places is due in no small part to Charlton's poor form.
Rock-bottom Stockport are the visitors at The Valley this weekend as the Addicks look to build on their 2-1 win over Southend.
In-form Swindon host Bristol Rovers at the County Ground having not lost in the league since the Pirates defeated them on 12th December.
The Robins are just seven points behind Leeds with a game in hand and could yet mount a push for automatic promotion.
A play-off berth at the very least looks likely for Town, and they will be looking to get one over on Rovers, who also harbour hopes of finishing in the play-offs.
At the other end of the table Oldham travel to Exeter in a relegation six-pointer.
The Latics currently occupy the last relegation place but can be leapfrogged by the Grecians this weekend.
Exeter are just one point behind their opponents although they have played two games more than Oldham and will be desperate for a victory in the South West.
Struggling Wycombe are also in need of a win to keep their chances of survival alive, and they take on Carlisle at Adams Park.
A win for the Chairboys over the Cumbrians would not see them move up the table, but it could potentially put them just one point from safety.
Tranmere will be one of the clubs looking over their shoulder in the bottom half, and they face a tough task as Southampton travel to Prenton Park.
Rovers have dragged themselves out of the drop zone but face a Saints side who smashed promotion-hopefuls Huddersfield 5-0 on Tuesday.
The emphatic result stunned the Terriers, who had been on a good run of form before their trip to St Mary's.
Lee Clark's side still occupy the final play-off place and can get their campaign back on track with a win at Gillingham, who are two points from safety.
Millwall can go above Huddersfield into sixth if they better their result when they travel to Walsall.
The Lions have won two games on the trot and take on a Saddlers outfit who have suffered successive defeats.
MK Dons need a win if they are going to ignite their push for a top-six berth against Leyton Orient, while relegation threatened Hartlepool and Southend will be battling it out for the points at Victoria Park.
