Les Parry admits bringing Leeds United midfielder Andy Robinson back to Tranmere Rovers next season is 'completely out of the question'.

Robinson, who has sent off on his Rovers debut, has been on loan at Prenton Park since late March and scored his first goal for the club on Saturday against Leeds' promotion rivals Millwall.

He has not featured for Leeds since November and could be allowed to leave Elland Road at the end of the season.

However, Tranmere boss Parry concedes his club do not have the resources to offer the 30-year-old a permanent deal.

Parry said: "Keeping Andy is completely out of the question.

"He still has a year left on his contract at Leeds and their salaries and our salaries are miles apart.

"The chances of him staying here are next to none."
