Swansea City moved top of League Two with a 1-0 win over previous leaders Leyton Orient.
The Swans moved up from second courtesy of their narrow win at The Vetch Field.
The only goal came from Adrian Forbes (pictured), who struck just before half time.
Scunthorpe United moved into second as they grabbed a 3-2 home victory over Southend United.
On-loan star Fredy Eastwood put The Shrimpers ahead, but Steve Torpey (35) and Paul Hayes (44) made sure The Iron were ahead at the interval.
Jim Corbett then levelled for Southend before Andy Crosby sunk the winner.
It was a poor night for the top half teams in League Two as only two of those in the top 14 managed to win.
Mansfield Town went down 2-0 at Cheltenham Town with goals late in each half from Steve Guinan and Martin Devaney sealing the win for The Robins at Whaddon Road.
Yeovil Town moved above Mansfield into fourth, but it could have been so much better for The Glovers after the squandered a 2-0 lead at Bristol Rovers.
Goals from Paul Terry (27) and Gavin Williams (57) sandwiched the double sending off of David Savage and Steve Elliott of Rovers and Yeovil looked to be cruising.
However, James Hunt struck on the hour and Junior Agogo grabbed an unlikely leveller for nine-men Rovers just a few moments from time.
Macclesfield came from behind at home to Cambridge to seal a 1-1 draw.
Jermaine Easter put The U's ahead just before half time but Matthew Tipton made sure Town took a share of the spoils.
Boston United grabbed a hard fought point as they claimed a 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane against Bury.
The Shakers went ahead when Dave Challinor pounced after ten minutes but Colin Woodthorpe put through his own net on 35 minutes.
Wycombe were pegged back by Rushden & Diamonds as they were held to a 1-1 draw at The Causeway Stadium.

Northampton Town moved into the top half of the table with a 1-0 victory over Oxford United at Sixfields.
Scott McGelish scored the winner just seven minutes from time.
Notts County failed to hold on to the lead at Meadow Lane as they drew 1-1 with Darlington.
Glynn Hurst put County ahead on the half hour, but Alun Armstrong grabbed a point for The Quakers.
Shrewsbury Town remain bottom of the table after they drew 1-1 with Grimsby Town at Gay Meadow.
Terry Fleming put The Mariners ahead after just five minutes, but Jake Sedgemore rescued a point with his strike 13 minutes from time.
