Southend United manager Steve Tilson has put striker Gary Hooper on the transfer list.

Hooper joins fellow forwards Richie Foran, Matt Harrold and Charlie MacDonald in being made available for transfer.

Tilson has circulated the 20-year-old's name to clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two as he looks to rejig his attack.

The Shrimpers only handed Hooper a new 18-month contract in January, but he has struggled to make a sustained impact in the first team.

He did impress during a loan spell at Hereford United last season, though, scoring 11 goals in 19 appearances as Graham Turner's side won promotion to League One.

Meanwhile, Southend have also confirmed that youngsters Charles Ademeno, Peggy Lokando and Clark Masters will be allowed to leave the club on short or long-term loan deals.
