Southend have raided League One rivals MK Dons to sign Jabo Ibehre on a month's loan.
The 26-year-old can play on both the right wing and in attack and will bolster a squad down to its bare bones in recent weeks.
Southend boss Steve Tilson has been scouring the loan market all week and has now landed his man.
Ibehre links up with Paul Brush again having played under the Shrimpers assistant manager while he was in charge at Leyton Orient.
