Lowe: Gives Chester options

Chester City have re-signed Ryan Lowe after the attacker's Crewe Alexandra contract was cancelled.

Lowe originally left Chester for Crewe two years ago and made 74 appearances during his time at Gresty Road.

He finished last season on loan at Stockport County and was deemed to be surplus to Steve Holland's requirements at Crewe this term.

The 29-year-old has now agreed a two-year deal with Chester and manager Simon Davies is pleased with his latest recruit.

"He will be good for us, he has a bubbly personality and on the field when he is on the ball his play is exceptional," Davies told the club's official website.

"He gives me many options which is great for selection purposes."
