Lowe: Out to impress

Ryan Lowe feels he has "unfinished business" to take care of at Chester after returning to the Deva Stadium last week.

The 29-year-old forward spent just over a year with City before joining Crewe on a free transfer in 2006 following a disagreement with then manager Mark Wright.

Current boss Simon Davies has handed Lowe a second chance at Chester, though, with the former Shrewsbury man signing a two-year deal after slipping down the pecking order at Crewe.

"I was doing well here and I left on a bad patch. I've still got unfinished business to do," Lowe told the Chester Chronicle.

"The fans probably think I've got a point to prove to them, but I'll do my talking on the pitch.

"Everyone thinks I had problems, but it wasn't me who had the problems - it was the former manager."
