Milton Keynes Dons have eased their goalkeeping crisis by signing Lewis Price on loan from Derby County.

Price is currently third choice at Pride Park and has not made a first-team appearance for the Rams since January.

He has now been offered the chance of a game after accepting a one-month stint at League One promotion hopefuls MK Dons.

Roberto Di Matteo has moved for Price after Wolves turned down a request for Matt Murray to head to stadium:mk.

Dons boss Di Matteo was in the market for goalkeeping cover after Willy Gueret was sent off in Saturday's 3-1 win at home to Cheltenham Town.

Gueret must now serve a three-match ban, while Nathan Abbey picked up an ankle knock after being brought on following his team-mate's dismissal.

With Abbey struggling to be fit, Wales international Price could make his debut for MK Dons in Tuesday's game at Leyton Orient.
