Milton Keynes Dons have completed the signing of former Chelsea and Norway striker Tore Andre Flo.

The 35-year-old had retired from football in March after leaving Leeds but he has been training with the Dons over recent weeks.

And Flo has now accepted a contract offer from manager Roberto Di Matteo, who he played with at Chelsea.

The deal runs until the end of the current season as the Dons look to secure the firepower required to gain League One promotion.

Di Matteo told the Don's official website: "We were always looking to get one more striker in with some different qualities and Tore's got a bit of experience as well so hopefully he will be a big hit.

"I hope he's going to contribute to the team with his experience and his vision, but at the end of the day he's a striker so we hope he's going to score loads of goals."

Flo, who has made 76 appearances for his country, has also spent time at Sunderland and Rangers during his career.
