Micah Hyde has left Peterborough United after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The midfielder joined Posh from Burnley in January 2007 and had made 71 appearances for the club.

He had featured 10 times for the League One side this season, but had not been involved for the past month.

The 34-year-old has now been released and Hyde will have to wait until the January transfer window opens before he can play for another Football League club.

Posh also confirmed that, during the past month, Hyde had rejected loan moves to Barnet, Notts County and Stevenage Borough.
