Graham Turner is planning to be busy in the transfer market in January to boost Hereford United's survival prospects.

Bulls boss Turner has regularly turned to the loan market over the past couple of seasons and has sampled mixed success.

Last season's loan players helped Hereford to promotion to League One, but injuries have hit many of this term's arrivals at Edgar Street.

"There's two ways of looking at it, you can look at it negatively or look at it positively and say, 'Right, we have to change a few personnel around in January'," said Turner on the club's official website.

"Where the loan system worked tremendously well for us last season, it has been injuries to our loan players that has been costly this season.

"When you look at Matt Murray, Lionel Ainsworth, Bruno N'Gotty, Robbie Threlfall, Moses Ashikodi - almost every player on loan has picked up injuries. It has been unfortunate for us."
