Yeovil Town will be without Lee Peltier against Scunthorpe United, who are missing captain Cliff Byrne.

Peltier starts a two-match suspension after receiving 10 cautions so far this term, so the defender sits it out against the Iron.

The Glovers will be anxious to play following the postponement of Saturday's West Country derby at Bristol Rovers, due to a frozen pitch.

The Glovers have not played since a 1-1 draw at Millwall on 28th December following the postponement of last Tuesday's game against Scunthorpe, with the Huish Park playing surface falling foul of the weather.

Paul Warne and Gary Roberts are expected to be involved in the match after recovering from illness.

Scunthorpe news

Scunthorpe skipper Byrne will miss the Huish Park clash due to suspension, after Saturday's game with Hereford was postponed due to the big freeze.

David Mirfin will take his place in the Iron rearguard and Joe Murphy will step into the breach as captain, while Ben May is back in contention after overcoming flu and a muscle injury during the weekend break.

Long-term injury victim Ian Morris is set to step up his return from a knee ligament problem and hopes to return to training on Friday.

Kenny Milne's similar injury looks likely to keep him out until the end of February, while Michael Lea is out with a toe injury.
